CaSoBe, Club Laiya, Costa Azalea warn vs fake pages; case filed with NBI

Beachside destinations CaSoBe (Calatagan South Beach), Club Laiya, and Costa Azalea have warned the public against fake social media pages and online booking scams impersonating their official accounts.

In a joint advisory, the three properties said they have received reports of unauthorized pages using their branding, photos, and resort details to deceive guests and solicit payments through unofficial channels.

The properties confirmed that they are coordinating with authorities and have filed a case with the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to pursue those behind the scams and take down impersonating accounts.

They emphasized that all legitimate bookings and inquiries should only be made through official channels, including:

They reiterated that no bookings or payments are accepted through unofficial social media accounts, personal profiles, or unverified payment methods.

Guests are also advised to watch out for red flags such as deeply discounted offers, urgent booking requests, and payment instructions via personal accounts or e-wallets.
