Lanson Place Mall of Asia, Manila marked the start of the holiday season with its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, highlighting this year’s theme, “Season of Joy.” The event focused on togetherness, warmth, and the tradition of celebrating with the people who make the season meaningful.
The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests led by Ms. Elizabeth Sy, President of SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation; Mr. Hans Sy, Chairman of SM Prime Holdings Inc.; and Ms. Peggy Angeles, Executive Vice President of SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation; along with Pasay City Mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano.
A musical program curated by Nestor Jardin set a festive tone for the evening. Performances by Vien King, The Opera Belles, and Bernie Pasamba and the Music Masters filled the lobby with holiday music. Guests later enjoyed a cocktail buffet prepared by the Lanson Place Culinary Team.

In her message, Ms. Peggy Angeles also reflected on the event’s theme:
