Lanson Place Mall of Asia Wins Gold for Outstanding Architecture at Build4Asia 2026

SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation (SMHCC) proudly announces that Lanson Place Mall of Asia has been honored with the Outstanding Architecture – Hotels/Resorts (Project Outside of Hong Kong) Gold Award at the prestigious Build4Asia 2026 Awards, one of Asia’s leading platforms celebrating excellence and innovation in the built environment.

The accolade highlights the property’s exceptional architectural design by Arquitectonica, recognizing its thoughtful integration of form, function, environmental responsibility, and guest experience. Characterized by bronze metallic curtain wall panels and wave-like fins, the building draws inspiration from the movement of the waves along Manila Bay, creating a distinctive landmark within the vibrant Mall of Asia complex.

This achievement reinforces SMHCC’s commitment to developing hospitality destinations that combine world-class design, operational excellence, and meaningful guest experiences.

“Design has the power to shape how people connect with places and create lasting memories,” said SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation Executive Vice President Peggy Angeles. “This award reflects our commitment to building hospitality destinations that are purposeful, future-ready, and centered on the evolving needs of our guests.”

Strategically located within the Mall of Asia complex, Lanson Place Mall of Asia blends contemporary urban living with intuitive hospitality, catering seamlessly to both short-term guests and long-stay residents. The property reflects SMHCC’s broader portfolio strategy of offering diverse, high-quality hospitality experiences across key destinations in the Philippines.

Environmental stewardship remains a cornerstone of the property’s design and operations. Energy-efficient features such as insulated glass unit (IGU) glazing, integrated shading devices, and provisions for future district cooling help reduce environmental impact while enhancing guest comfort and operational efficiency.

Further underscoring its commitment to responsible hospitality, Lanson Place Mall of Asia is also a recipient of the globally recognized Green Key Certification, an eco-label awarded to tourism establishments that meet rigorous environmental and operational standards.

The Build4Asia Awards honor outstanding achievements in architecture, building technologies, and innovation across Asia. With this latest distinction, Lanson Place Mall of Asia joins a distinguished group of developments helping shape the future of urban hospitality and environmentally conscious design in the region.

“This milestone further strengthens Lanson Place Mall of Asia’s position as a leading hospitality destination where modern living, responsible development, and intuitive service come together seamlessly,” said Lanson Place Mall of Asia General Manager Nils Rothbarth.

Lanson Place Mall of Asia is located at Block 12, Palm Coast Avenue corner Seaside Boulevard, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. Follow its official social media pages on Facebook and Instagram for updates and announcements.
