Seda Manila Bay officially welcomed the festive season with the annual Christmas Tree Lighting celebration, carrying the theme “The Joy That Brings Us Together.” Held at the hotel’s elegant lobby, the event brought together top executives, community partners, and distinguished guests in a joyful gathering that highlighted unity, Filipino heritage, and the enduring warmth of the holidays.
Among those in attendance were Mr. Emile Otte, Cluster General Manager of Seda NCR & Nuvali; Atty. Clara Sereno, Head of Legal of AyalaLand Hospitality; and FSUPT Liher L. Barrios, DSC, City Fire Marshal of the Parañaque City Fire Station.
The program opened with remarks from Mr. Jose Luis Abellar, Director of Sales of Seda Manila Bay, followed by an inspiring holiday message from Atty. Clara Sereno. Staying true to the evening’s theme of community spirit, the hotel also recognized the Bureau of Fire Protection as its Community Hero, honoring their commitment and service.
Guests were treated to live performances of classic Pinoy Christmas songs, filling the evening with nostalgia and festive cheer.
A highlight of the celebration was the ceremonial lighting of the Christmas tree led by Mr. Niel Inocentes, Director of Rooms; Atty. Sereno; and Mr. Otte. This year’s tree features a warm, sustainable, and organic design—adorned with natural materials, woven fabrics, and artisanal elements inspired by Filipino traditions, delicacies, and craftsmanship. The design reflects the essence of Filipino Christmas: heritage, joy, and togetherness.
Following the lighting ceremony, guests enjoyed a lavish buffet curated by Seda Manila Bay’s culinary team, showcasing well-loved Filipino dishes and holiday specialties. A standout was the live station serving puto bumbong and bibingka—classic flavors that evoke beloved Christmas gatherings.
The evening also marked the launch of Seda Manila Bay’s 2025 festive offerings, including special room packages, Misto’s holiday buffets, curated holiday hampers, and countdown celebrations at both the ballroom and the Pool Bar.
