At the Heart of LifeWear: UNIQLO’s Sustainability Commitment
Beyond fashion, UNIQLO reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability during the event. Under its Heart of LifeWear initiative, the brand pledged to donate 1 million HEATTECH and AIRism pieces in 2025 to refugees and underserved communities worldwide.
Locally, UNIQLO Philippines has already distributed 600 HEATTECH items to single parents in Baguio, with more efforts planned in the coming months.
Additionally, UNIQLO continues to promote a circular economy through its RE.UNIQLO program, which reduces clothing waste by repurposing and recycling used garments. To mark the first anniversary of its Global Flagship Store’s RE.UNIQLO Studio, the brand introduced new embroidery services, allowing customers to personalize and extend the life of their favorite pieces.
